There are so many self-proclaimed leaders in the world these days that it can be difficult to figure out who is worth following. In this episode we examine what it means to be a good leader.
In this episode we continue talking about a topic that popped up in episode 10, culture. It’s culture, more than anything else, that determines how you live. There is a lot of evidence supporting the idea that our thinking has a significant effect on the outcomes we experience in our lives. If we want to live a certain kind of life we are going to need to think about ourselves and the world in a way that enables us to live that way. All of this means that the inputs that we let into our lives need to be scrutinized. They will determine much of the way we live. In this episode we discuss how we can get a handle on our inputs so we can be the people we want to be.

In this episode we discuss having a posture that allows us to learn from everyone and everything in life. The story of Galileo is a perfect illustration of just how susceptible humanity is to blindness and dogmatism. If we want to really learn and to see the world as it is, we have to embrace a posture of honesty and openness. We must have the courage to seek the truth and to accept it even when it doesn’t agree with our world view.
